Pakistan and China conducted a joint counterterrorism exercise called Warrior IX to strengthen their military cooperation.

Ambassador of China to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, as well as the Chief of General Staff of the Pakistani Army, attended a visitors day ceremony on Thursday (December 11).

The goal of the exercise was to enhance interoperability and strengthen military cooperation.

A statement from the army's Inter Services Public Relations Wing said the exercise reflected the "strong defence collaboration between Pakistan and China and reaffirms the commitment of both Armed Forces to working together for peace and stability."
