Stuff No One Tells You About Being a Professional Ballet Dancer Ep. 4: Exploitation of the Dreamers

On trend with my intro, there are an infinite number of ways you could look at the points I mentioned. I felt this video would be lacking if I didn’t mention a few points of exploitation that many aspiring dancers haven’t yet considered (aside from my main point - financial exploitation of dancers throughout the audition process). I know, this certainly wasn’t comprehensive, and I definitely didn’t even try to propose any “solutions” for all the points I mentioned, but I do know that what I took time to share can, at the very least, prevent dancers from being blind-sighted.

I also wanted to share my working definition of victimhood since I mentioned it several times throughout the video: "Completely at the affect of a person or situation. Unable to affect change whatsoever."
