Billu Barbar is a 2009 Hindi Movie (comedy-drama) directed by Priyadarshan. It stars Irrfan Khan as Billu and Shahrukh Khan as Bollywood superstar Sahir Khan. Billu is a poor barber who lives in a village with his wife and two children. He claims to be a childhood friend of Sahir, who comes to the village for a film shoot. Billu’s life changes as he becomes a celebrity overnight, but he also faces challenges and doubts from his family and the villagers. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film Katha Parayumpol and is loosely based on the story of Krishna and Sudama from the Bhagavata Purana.
