This video shows the working of a cabbage processing line.
Allround cabbage lines are especially designed to allow companies to process cabbage in a safer, cleaner and more efficient way. As the outer leaves of the cabbage are usually cleaned before selling the product, there is a lot of labour involved.

With the Allround cabbage lines, this labour is reduced to a minimum. First a box of cabbages is loaded into the special cabbage box tipper. This cabbage box tipper is designed to eliminate the falling height. the box is turned onto a belt, which then gently feeds the line.

The capacity of the line depends on the number of cleaning stations. 1 cleaning station gives approximately 1 ton of capacity per hour. The underside of the cabbage is cut off, and with an air beam the outer leaves are blown off.

After the cleaning, there are several options to consider for grading and packaging, depending on the needs of the customer.
