Clamshells - making them gorgeous but not custom quilted - LIVE & UNSCRIPTED

These clamshells are beautifully sewn, and quite large, so I've let them be my guide in choosing a quilting design. Using the clamshells as my "marking" enabled me to
quilt something very unique, but still a continuous line, and therefore super efficient to quilt.

This project illustrates one of my favorite axioms - everyday projects can be the canvas for practicing high-end quilting skills. In this case, every clamshell provides an opportunity to practice 1/4" echoing.
