Anyways AU lore: I didn't really have a set point for this AU, I just kinda wanted to draw some angst of my current favourite fandom which is Osmosis Jones.
So the video follows an incident in which Jones is killed. Jones and Drix are in a relationship in this AU, so Drix is absolutely crushed by the death of his lover. He gets revenge, but it doesn't satisfy him, so he is left alone with the mounting guilt and grief over his lovers death. Jones is a spirit watching over Drix, and is unable to reassure him things will be okay. So he just has to watch as his lover descends deeper into despair while wanting nothing more than to see him smile again.

Also I wanted to create the atmosphere of the video slowly decaying and being destroyed as Drix falls further into misery. The calm vibes of this song worked super well for that. I added some basic video effects and I think it sells the idea of everything decaying nicely. Not to mention having Jones fade in the end is symbolic of them being unable to reach each other. It's just sad okay :((

Also the original meme only has 150+ views at the time of uploading which is too low cause it's underrated as fuck go check it out!
