Top News | Senior BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari on Friday appeared to make fun of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's injury, which led to a controversy. According to the Trinamool Congress, Banerjee cut her forehead on Thursday night and needed to spend a few hours in the hospital. The TMC chief was given sutures and tested at the hospital; after being found stable, he was released from the hospital and went home. Mr. Adhikari made the following statement during a rally in Khejuri, West Bengal: "TMC's pressure has gone down and it is falling." He did not name anyone. The TMC's collapse has only just started at the top; it will eventually reach the lowest ranks."
