Welcome back to my cooking vlog Sweety's Kitchen! In today's video, we're making a quick and easy bread snack that you can whip up in no time. Perfect for any time of the day, this recipe combines simple ingredients to create a delicious treat that everyone will love.
Ingredients:
1.Bread slices
2.Boiled and mashed potatoes
3.Onion, Capsicum, Carrot, Green Chilli, Ginger
4.Cheese
5.Seasoning of your choice (e.g., oregano, chili flakes, salt, pepper)
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Filling:
In a bowl, mash the boiled potatoes.
Add the mixed vegetables, salt, pepper, and any other spices of your choice.
Mix everything well to create a flavorful potato filling.
2. Steam the Bread:
Grease your steamer with oil.
Arrange the bread slices in the steamer.
Cover and steam on medium flame for 10 minutes.
3. Flatten the Bread:
Once steamed, take the bread slices out and use a rolling pin to flatten them.
4.Assemble the Snacks:
Spread the potato mixture evenly over the flattened bread slices.
Sprinkle a little cheese on top of the mixture if desired.
5.Shape and Secure:
Fold the bread slices into a potli (pouch) shape and secure with a toothpick.
6.Cook on Tawa:
Heat butter on a tawa (griddle) over medium to low flame.
Place the bread potlis on the tawa and cook until both sides are crispy and the cheese is melted.
Enjoy your tasty steamed bread potato snacks!
Tips:
You can customize the filling with your favorite vegetables and spices.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce or chutney.
