Ramboda Ella | Puna Ella Falls | Cinematic Video | Beautiful Puna Ella Waterfall in Sri Lanka

The Ramboda Ella (Puna Ella) double fall is notable for its 'Y' shape, in which two waterfalls with two water sources merge into one at the bottom. The water in the left fall comes from the Puna Oya, a canal that runs through the forest reserve above. The right-hand fall is formed by water from Pundalu Oya, which flows through cultivated land above. The fall flowing through the Pandalu Oya carries more volume most of the year, but during long droughts, the role is reversed. The water level in the left fall remains relatively constant, whereas the water level in the other fall drops significantly.
