A custom 3dfx Voodoo 4 in a laptop? You heard that right! In this video, we're checking out something truly special - the world's first Dell Precision M4800 running with a scratch-built Voodoo 4 MXM graphics card, crafted by Daniel S. from sdz-mods...

But here's the catch - Windows 98 stubbornly refuses to use our Voodoo 4, defaulting instead to the Intel HD 4600 iGPU. Why? Because Windows 98 only sees whatever GPU the BIOS reports as primary, and there's no way to make our Voodoo card take that spot. So if we wanted to take Windows 98 for a spin (which of course we did!), we had to get creative and use the VBE driver for the Intel graphics!
