Santa Cruz De Tenerife - Cruise Port Walk - Canary Islands Cruise - Sep 2022 - P&O Ventura (N225)

This was the third port stop on our P&O Canary Island cruise in September 2022, visiting the town of Santa Cruz on the North East coast of Tenerife.
Although we have been to Tenerife a number of times, it was the first time we had visited whilst on a cruise. We have visited much of the island previously, so again we decided to stay around the port area to see what was around within easy walking distance.
We always like walking up to higher ground to get better views, so this was what we decided to do. No real plans, just looked at the map and tried to find a path that went up towards the local hills.
In the end, we found a reasonable walk, although as stated in the video, it is such a shame that people just dump rubbish and the local councils seem to do nothing to clear the rubbish or stop the problem. I guess that many people just stick to the seafront or tourist areas, but still wouldn't take too much focus to resolve.

Our walk was very pleasant though, and not too strenuous after the long walk a few days earlier. The park in the town (Parque García Sanabria) was very relaxing, and the walk along the seafront to the Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín and Castillo de San Juan Bautista was good.
