A former police officer's kindness has helped a teenager overcome her trauma after she was caught up in the Manchester Arena terror attack.

Amelia Thompson was just 11 when she went to watch Ariana Grande perform in central Manchester on May 22, 2017.

After the bomb was detonated, Amelia was so traumatised, she didn't speak for days.

But now, former police officer Aaron Palmer, who was one of the first on the scene after the bombing has helped her rediscover her love of music, with a little help from Shawn Mendes...
