This is a sweet cake and if you prefer it to be less sweet you can reduce the amount of sugar used for this delicious recipe and use the apples of your preference (red or green would be fine!).

INGREDIENTS

For the filling:
► 5 apples
► 80g sugar
► 30g unsulted butter

For the dough:
► 90g flour
► 3 eggs
► 50g sugar
► 1tsp vanilla extract
► salt 1 pinch
► ½ tsp baking powder

🥣 How to make apple cake :
Peel 5 apples and cut into quarters.
Grease the 10 inch pan with 30g unsalted butter.
sprinkle with sugar
carefully lay out the quarters of the apples
sprinkle with sugar again
add the remaining quarters, sprinkle with sugar.
bake for about 40 minutes at 180C (350F) until the apples completely soft
remove the baked apples from the oven, tamp them a little with a fork
beat 3 eggs with 50g of sugar, 1tsp vanilla extract and a pinch of salt
add 90g flour, ½ tsp baking powder
pour the dough over the baked apples
Bake for 30-35 minutes in the preheated oven at 180C (350F).

Let the cake cool completely and enjoy!
