I'm still SO in love with that collab. Everyone did an AMAZING job. Plus, it's actually one of my top favorite songs ever. Matchbox Twenty is kinda my favorite band, I've been saying that for years, and there's just something about this song that makes it one of my absolute faves.

Voiceovers:

Sarah: My son is very quiet and withdrawn.

Sarah: Thanks for spending time with him!
Zeek: I love him. He's my grandson, you know?

Drew: I just feel so stupid, you know?
Amber: Drew, it's gonna be okay. I promise. Okay?

(talking to Seth, Drew's father, about herself & her boyfriend, Mark)
Sarah: We're trying to have a baby.
Seth: Wow. Do the kids know?
Sarah: Just Drew. And... he got really upset.
Seth: I bet you he's taking it hard, huh?
Sarah: Yeah. You know him!

Mark: I see him smiling, and he's talking, and he's just really coming out of his shell.

Drew: Amber, he's our dad!
Amber: He's some crazy drug addict.
Drew: He's changed.

Amber: We'll always have each other.
Drew: Yeah.
Amber: I know that it was important to you to have a relationship with him.

Sarah: All Drew has done his whole life is sit around and wait for his father to show up. Wait for him at school. Wait for him after soccer. Wait for him on whole weekends that were his weekends to take them and he would never show up!

Sarah: Oh, honey. I'm really sorry. For what it's worth, you have me. I'm not going anywhere.

Sarah: You were... devastated when Amy broke up with you.

(Drew's college roommate) Berto: What's your deal with Natalie? Look, it's just that last night, I saw her macking on some other dude.

Sarah: What's wrong?
Drew: Everything! Holly! She- I tried to kiss her, okay? And she... totally rejected me.

Drew: I'm the laughing stock right now, so... thanks.
Sarah: Wait, why? Come here. Talk to me. What happened?
Drew: Because there's a picture of you guys making out going around school, so...

(Sarah's co-worker) Hank: You're never gonna understand women. [Drew chuckles.] And it's okay to be sad!

Drew: Okay, basically there's a school dance coming up, and I'm really nervous about it, because...
Uncle Adam: Right.
Drew: ...I don't know how to dance. That's basically why I'm here.

Drew: Do you have any idea what you put us through? What if you had died?!

Amy: I'm pregnant.

Amy: Drew, it's not gonna be okay!

Drew: I ended up talking to my mom.
Amy: You told your mom about the abortion?
Drew: Yes, I told my mom. I'm sorry. Okay?
Amy: Drew.
Drew: But... it was so helpful. It just feels so good to talk to someone... who's not involved in it the same way.

Drew: Hey, I got... I heard from Berkeley. Yeah, I... I got in.

Drew: It feels like she's just gonna go off and start some new family with you or something, you know? And it hurts.
Mark: Okay, Drew, I... she's not trying to start a new family, alright?
Drew: That's what it feels like, so...
Mark: Drew!

Mark: He's a really incredible kid.

Sarah: Why Dad?
(referring to his dad getting through rehab for his addictions that season) Drew: I thought that maybe... when Dad got better, you guys would get together or something. And... I know it's stupid, but-
Sarah: It's not stupid!

(After his sister Amber asks Drew to be her special witness at a courthouse wedding.)
Drew: You can't get married without Mom there, Amber.
Amber: I'm gonna tell her, like right after, we'll have like a thing or something. It's fine.
Drew: She'd be... devastated.
Amber: It's not about her, you know? It's about what I want.
Drew: I know, it's... I know it's not, it's definitely not.
Amber: What? What's your problem?
Drew: I'm... I'm here for you. I just... I can't do that.

Drew: Enough bad stuff has happened to me, I'm pretty much used to it at this point, so...
Amy: Why? What do you mean?
Drew: We found out my aunt has cancer...
Amy: What?
Drew: Yeah, my Aunt Kristina. She has cancer, so... and it's serious.

Zeek: You know, Grandson, let me tell you something. You... are an extraordinary young man. There's a depth to you that's just... truly remarkable for someone of your age. I'm here for you if you need me, you know.
Drew: Yeah. Yeah.
Zeek: Okay.
[Zeek ruffles his hair]
Zeek: I can still do that, can't I?
Drew: Go for it.
[Zeek chuckles]

Amber: What is wrong with you?
Drew: I don't know, I wanted to...
Amber: How could you ever think I would be anything other than the proudest person in the entire universe!
Drew: I don't know!
