THE BAMBIR:
The Bambir is a music collective, a school of thought, an approach, spanning 4 decades, with more than fifty musicians having passed through its ranks. Beginning with Jag Bambir, over the last 40 years Bambir has developed and grown new branches.
The Bambir band (Narek, Arik, Arman and Vardan) - they have gathered their childhood appreciation for hard rock and smuggled vinyl, Armenian traditional music and poetry, pulsing beats and whirling trances, ancient tales and pagan wails and pumped it into their own unique sound. Their music has an experimental character, which usually takes place on the edge of cultures, concepts and melodies.

The dialect of Shirak is a variant of Karin dialect, closely related to Western Armenian.
The economy of the province is mainly based on agriculture, including farming and cattle-breeding. Around 80% of the total area of the province are arable lands. The fertile Shirak plain is the largest producer of grains and potato in Armenia.
