Here a quick look at a three cylinder Deutz diesel engine. Eventually it will be mated with a generator head and used as a generator. It’s a unique design. Unlike liquid cooled engines, this one uses the lube oil as coolant. What you see is a much smaller fan and a heat exchanger instead of a radiator. There are many advances to this that we will go into on another video. Many in North America are not familiar with Deutz however, they are the worlds oldest engine manufacturer.
