I recently bought the Titan Fitness X-3 Spotter Arms since I workout alone and I've been wanting to go heavier on the bench press.

I could tell right after unboxing the arms that they are solid.

These are used for exercises where you may get stuck at the bottom of the movement.

Exercises such as the bench press, incline bench press, squats, and shoulder press.

They're just there to "spot" you and help you escape the exercise safely.

The safety arms attach to the squat rack just like a J-hook.

You insert the pin through the squat rack's hole and rotate it down where it locks into place.

As an additional safety feature it also comes with a lockable pin at that you insert at the bottom of the spotter arms.

Titan Fitness advertises these as being 24" long but the usable length is 20".

These can hold up to 1000 lbs of weight which is plenty for me.

I really like that they can be stored on the inside of the rack so they're not sticking out and taking up space.

The X-3 squat rack safety arms fit a 3x3 rack but Titan also makes them in different sizes so they also fit 2x2 racks.
