Pierre Littbarski 🇩🇪 (1981-1990): skills and goals

Описание к видео Pierre Littbarski 🇩🇪 (1981-1990): skills and goals

Known for his dribbling abilities, Littbarski was mainly used as an attacking midfielder or winger. Short and slight, yet also quick and tricky, the Berliner was adept with both feet, flourished in his adapted attacking midfielder/winger role and soon his trademark dribbles were just as likely to be in and around the penalty box as out on the flank. He also had a keen eye for goal. He was a FIFA World Cup winner with West Germany in 1990, and the runner-up in both 1982 and 1986. He is shown scoring against Austria, Albania, Czechoslovakia, Norway, Spain, France, Portugal, Malta, Sweden, Bulgaria, Finland, Colombia, and England. He represented the West Germans for 73 matches, netting 18 times. At the end of the video, he is shown scoring an olympic goal (a corner kick goal when sufficient swerve is given to the kick and/or if wind is blowing toward the goal) against arch rivals England in a 3-1 friendly match victory.
