SC Project Exhaust Comparison 2022 Ducati HyperMotard 950 SP

Managed to get hold of another pair of SC Project exhausts, but this time the S1, so decided to do a quick comparison against the CR-T.

These two exhausts are probably the most popular on Hypermotards both costing approximately the same but totally different characteristics depending on what you like as a rider.

The CR-T is proper loud.. idle's around 93 DB and even at 3K RPM was 105 DB - these will not pass any static noise testing days.. but for drive-by testing they have got me on Donington Park on a quiet 98 DB with some clever short-shifting down the start/finish straight.

The S1 has more of a little burble when idling and definitely looks chunkier sitting under the fairing... it idles at 89 DB (4- DB less) and at 3K RPM was 100 DB (-5 DB less).. but these are also 1KG heavier - must be the full Ti compared to Ti and Carbon.

I couldn't notice much difference when riding but was only in 2nd/3rd gear on public roads.. but at least I have some flexibility now and can finally ditch the stock cans.. and with all SC equipment they hold strong in the 2nd hand market so you will always make your money back.
