Sahityotsav Jashn-e-Adab Cultural Kaarva'n Virasat Shimla Edition on 10th and 11th December, 2023 at Gaiety Theatre, The Mall Road was a hugely successful cultural program supported by Department of Language and Culture, Himachal Pradesh Government. The program included Mushaira and Kavi Sammelan, Ghazal Singing, Rajasthani Folk Singing, Poetry, Dastangoi, Stand-up Comedy, Panel Discussions. From OTT Actors to Padma Shri Artists to regional artists all added shine to the stage.

Mushaira is a poetic symposium. It is an event where poets gather to perform their works. A mushaira is part of the Culture of North India, Pakistan and the Deccan, particularly among the Hyderabadi Muslims, and it regarded as a forum for free self-expression.
