Let’s talk about the Moon! The Moon is round and changes shapes. It does not have its own light. The Sun makes the Moon shine. People went to the Moon in 1969. There is no air or water on the Moon, so we cannot live there. The Moon is beautiful at night.

Stars are small lights in the night sky. But they are really big, just very far away! The Sun is also a star. Stars shine and twinkle at night. Some stars make shapes called constellations. I love looking at stars at night. They are so pretty!

Why do we have day and night? The Earth turns around. When our side faces the Sun, it is day.
When our side is away from the Sun, it is night. That is why we wake up in the morning and sleep at night.
