Retracing his father’s footsteps on D-Day

On the 80th anniversary of D-Day, Don Levers and his family will embark on a pilgrimage to the beaches of Normandy to find the spot where his father, Gerry Levers of the Royal Winnipeg Rifles, almost lost his life.
