Saskatoon Berry AKA Service Berry, June Berry, and Shadbush - Amelanchier alnifolia
Black Hawthorn - Crataegus douglasii

In this video, I show how to ID Saskatoon berry, which is also known as service berry, June berry, shadbush, and more. This wild berry is edible and also has medicinal uses and has been widely used by indigenous people in Canada and the USA.

Also shown and descibed in this video is black hawthorn which is a look-alike for Saskatoon berry.
