BRS Leader K Kavitha Goes To Supreme Court, Challenges Arrest In Delhi Liquor Policy Case

Bharat Rashtra Samithi leader K Kavitha has approached the Supreme Court, challenging her arrest by the Enforcement Directorate in the Delhi liquor policy case.

The 46-year-old MLC, daughter of BRS chief and former Telangana Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao, was arrested after searches at her Hyderabad home on Friday and brought to Delhi.

She was on Saturday produced before a Delhi court by the probe agency where the court granted the probe agency's request to keep Kavitha in custody for questioning till March 23.
