Senator Cory Booker had four minutes. He used them to document 170 detained citizens by name and case, cite a federal judge appointed by George W. Bush who documented over 210 court order violations in a single month, reveal that DHS paid $129.3 million for a warehouse worth $62 million while a Republican town council voted unanimously to reject it, and press Noem, with the families of two people her agents killed sitting in the hearing room to retract calling them domestic terrorists. She refused. Republican Senator Thom Tillis called her leadership "a disaster" and demanded her resignation.
