Gitte Isacsson, Programme Director at VA SYD presents one of the biggest infrastructure investments of our time in south of Sweden, at the WTC, World Tunnel Congress 2022, in Copenhagen. VA SYD is one of Sweden´s largest organisations in water, wastewater and waste. This upcoming project needs international help, why we are reaching out to connect with future contractors. We are planning to build one system that consist of a interconnected components, the main ones being a waste water transfer tunnel, a wastewater treatment plant, a pumping station and outlet pipes. This project is needed to handle a fast growing population, replacing an outdated system fulfilling new and stricter environmental legislations.
