Decide the role of the character: Before you start building a character, you need to decide whether it will be a main character or a secondary one. This decision is important because it will affect the talents and skills that you choose for the character.

Understand the role of secondary characters: If you decide to build a secondary character, keep in mind that their talents will never be activated under any circumstances, even while gathering food or wood. As soon as you put the hero as a secondary character, you lose all their talents. However, the skills of the secondary hero do stack and work just fine.

Choose talents that fit the character’s skills: After deciding whether your hero is a main or secondary hero, check their talents and see what fits more and will aid their skills or enhance them.

Consider using secondary units to aid main units: In some cases, you will want a secondary unit to aid a main unit. For example, if your main unit charges mana faster and unleashes their skill, the secondary hero will do the same, resulting in more frequent skill usage which is very good if the secondary hero has their skill maxed.

Example builds: Let’s take Arthur as an example of one of my main heroes. He has an infantry tree and an attack tree. Of course, I went for the attack tree since he is a main hero and I want to enhance his skills and mana consumption. At the end of this attack tree, you will find 3 nodes! All of them enhance mana. You might wonder why I care for mana this much?
