How Forced Reset Triggers Work

Описание к видео How Forced Reset Triggers Work

NOTE: the audio in this video is a bit messed up in some places, but I was recording and re-recording this for hours to try to get it right and settled for what you see here. Please excuse some of the noise!

By popular demand, a video on forced reset triggers. These have been the subject of controversy for a year or so now, and are a pretty interesting phenomenon. Any firearms or legal expert will tell you, these aren't machine guns - and by the letter of the (constitutionally undermining) law, they ARE NOT machine guns. The definition of a machine gun in legislation requires that MULTIPLE rounds of ammo be fired without manual reloading for a SINGLE function of the trigger. By nature, forced reset triggers are legally semi-automatic triggers and can only fire once per trigger function.

Consider the very fact that such a mechanism has now manifested itself to contend the law. Is God trying to say something about American gun laws?

We discuss how FRTs work in this video after a brief refresher on how triggers in general work, as well as my own personal FRT design. We also talk a bit about the politics and philosophy of guns and automatic weapons/forced reset triggers in general.

I need to give credit where due, so thanks to Hoffman Tactical at    / hoffmantactical  , for his amazing work with 3D printed components to turn mil spec AR-15 fire control groups into forced reset triggers. Buddy, if you're watching this, please take my combination disconnector/plate, and run with it. You have my support and endorsement, and I want you to succeed and make the difference you were meant to.

As always, questions and comments welcome in the comments section - please keep it civil.
