I just watched Ozzy Osbourne’s final live performance of “Mama I’m Coming Home”—recorded in Birmingham on July 5th, 2025—and I can’t lie, it was emotional. It felt like a full-circle moment. This was “Back to the Beginning,” the man returning home to say goodbye.

I LOVED the osbournes on MTV but apart from watching him in Black Sabbath this was my first time hearing him actually sing. His voice was fragile, tender, and still so him. No theatrics, no pyrotechnics—just Ozzy, a mic, and a stadium full of people who couldn’t believe it was the last time. It’s strange to feel this much for someone I’ve never met… but here we are.

And yes, I grew up watching The Osbournes reruns thinking the kids were both cool and deeply chaotic, Ozzy himself was very very flawed and yet this felt personal.
