The Vango EOS 550XL 5 Person Tent

The vango 550xl is a great weekend camping tent that sleeps up to 5 people, In one large bedroom, although, i'd probably deduct one person from the official stats for a comfortable nights sleep.

It is easy to pitch. The ground sheet isn't sewn in meaning you just peg out the corner facing into the wind, insert the Fiberglas poles, and then concertina the tent out.

The reduced length pole sleeves, that replace part of the sleeve with clips, make pitching easier.

There is an entrance on either side leading into a good sized living area, where you will notice vango's patented Tension Band System that adds stability in high winds. There is also a window on either side.

A combination of the riser groundsheet and lots of venting in the, bedrooms, and living area allow more airflow around the tent, reducing condensation.

It has 3000 HH, which basically means, the fabric shouldn't leak.

All in, this is an excellent value, good sized weekend camping tent, with some intelligent features, from a brand you can rely on.
