Madrid, Iowa is a small town Iowa gem hidden away about 20 miles north of the Des Moines metro and home of the High Trestle Trail Bridge that lights up blue over the Des Moines River. The High Trestle Trail that leads to the bridge is a wonderful bicycle path that connects 5 Iowa towns and is a joy to ride. This video covers the High Trestle Trail Bridge experience, takes you around the town of Madrid, and explore the Hindu Temple and Cultural Center a mile south of town.
