Join us on the ultimate Aussie food tour as we explore the best dining spots in Sydney, including iconic dishes like Morton Bay bugs and pastries from Bourke Street Bakery! This Aussie food guide will have your taste buds buzzing with delight.

You can't talk Australian food without talking brekkie. Australians just do it better with an emphasis on delicious fresh ingredients. Coffee culture here is also fantastic, and we are happily drinking as many flat whites as possible.

Vegemite may be the most famous (or infamous) of Australian foods and we try it for the first time on toast at our hotel. It has potential, but I think we did it wrong haha. In Brisbane we visited Four X Brewing company and now we're getting to eat what they made with the brewer's yeast scraps, which is really cool!

At Bourke Street Bakery we bite into Australia's legendary meat pies! We try an original and one with red wine and mushrooms (the award winner) and they're both fabulous!

Australia is a very diverse country with an incredible variety of internation food including Maccas aka McDonalds. They use Australian beef here and it just tastes better. Speaking of things Australia has made their own, fish and chips is very much a staple in cuisine here, we tried it on the Bondi to Coogee beach walk and it is probably the best fish and chips I've ever had. Step up your game UK! A dish I thought was British but actually started in Australia is Pavlova, the delicious meringue dessert that we tried at Bar 83 in Sydney Tower.

Kangaroo is not particularly popular to eat, but it is unique to Australia. We tried the kangaroo skewers at Pony Dining on the Rocks and they were surprisingly good! Tasted like steaks!

One of the dishes we were most excited to try is Morton Bay Bugs! Ivan saw these on the food network years ago and was so happy to give these delicious bay lobsters a go at The Boiling Crab.

We finished our day at the Canteen by the Sydney Opera House enjoying our final few moments of beautiful Australia! We're so thankful for our time here and already can't wait to come back! Please subscribe :)
