Elgato Video Recording Comparison Wii - Composite vs Component vs Wii2HDMI vs Wii U's HDMI

So yeah, I just randomly decided to make this comparison video. Mainly to show off that with a HD capture device any type of video input (other than composite )to that device will result in HD picture.

Both the Wii2HDM and component video produce a very nice picture quality however I favour Wii2HDMI more than I do component as it isn't as bright. The Wii U's HDMI again has kind of let me down picture wise. I really must admit I was looking for a more detailed picture but I find the colour ratio and sharpness rather flattening.

All of the videos other than the one recording from the Wii U were recorded from my Nintendo Wii instead. Turns out that if you use any alternate video output to HDMI to play Wii games from the Wii U than the Wii U will always play them back to you in 25 frames per second.
