Every dogIDs tag comes with an S-Hook and a Split-Ring. You can use either one to attach the tag to your dog's collar.

To use the S-Hook, loop the S-Hook through the ID tag and pinch it shut using a pair of pliers.

Then loop the other part of the S-Hook to the D-ring of the collar and pinch it shut using a pair of pliers.

To use the Split Ring, slide the tag into the ring until it is fully attached.

Then slide the collar's D-ring into the Split Ring until it is fully attached.
