This is the oldest lift I’ve come across In Singapore and it is a very vintage 1920s Marryat & Scott which is in a caged lift shaft and old fashioned gated doors. Marryat & Scott is a manufacture from the UK, this is before the UK’s rules over Singapore ended in 1965 as there used to be loads of old lifts with manufacturers from the UK (including Express) but not any more so find these old lifts are very rare to see

This lift is not completely 100% original as the buttons and the logic has sadly been replaced. Also, as soon as you pull the gated doors open, there is a buzzer will because the doors are open but if you close them completely, the buzzer will stop so it makes sure that people don’t leave the doors open when the exit the lift
