First, open your web browser and go to the official HBO Max website. Once there, sign in to your account using your registered email and password. You must be signed in to access the account settings and manage your subscription.

Next, click on your profile icon at the top right-hand corner of the screen. From the dropdown menu, tap on Settings. After you're in the settings section, scroll down to find the Subscription tab. Under this section, you will see the option to Manage Subscription—click on it.

Now, you will be able to see the plan you're currently on. Simply tap on the Cancel Subscription button. You might be asked to confirm your cancellation—just hit the Confirm button to proceed. Once you’ve done this, your HBO Max free trial will be successfully cancelled, and you won’t be charged when the trial period ends.
