A hike into John Rand cabin via Ravine road, Al Merrill ski trail. A hike to Sayre peak. There is an old abandoned and un maintained trail that goes to the peak. It's nicknamed the Dead End trail. There is some sort of radio or comm. tower at the end of this trail.
