A group of avid birders, mainly from South Africa, embarked on the MSC Orchestra late in January 2022 and headed for the Southern Ocean to explore the birdlife near and around the Prince Edward Islands. This journey was in aid of creating awareness for the plight of the birds on Marion Island currently being eaten alive by the house mice. Their devastation is increasing by the day, and global warming is contributing to this problem.

The project is run by the Mouse-Free Marion project, and your support is needed for the success of this project.
