Life skills are abilities that enable us to deal effectively with the demands and challenges of life.

Way back in 1993 the WHO and UNICEF collaborated with global experts and identified 10 life skills (listed below) and asked all the countries in the world to include these in the school curriculum.
1. Decision-making skills
2. Problem-solving skills
3. Creative thinking skills
4. Critical thinking skills
5. Communication skills
6. Interpersonal skills
7. Self-awareness skills
8. Empathy
9. Coping with emotions
10. Coping with stress.

We, nearly 100 of our family members, felt that we should create ready reckoners for our friends about these ten skills. Hope you benefit from our endeavour.
