Varanasi: Ganga luxury river cruise offers enchanting views of 84 ghats, a must for any traveler

Varanasi: Ganga river cruise is best enjoyed in Varanasi. This is a recent addition in the 'To do' list for any tourist in Varanasi and in Rs 900 per head, one can enjoy the scenes of all 84 ghats (river banks) of Varanasi in a quick and effective way. The cruise starts from Ravidas Ghat next to Assi Ghat and goes till Raja Ghat and then comes back to Ravidas Ghat, offering views of Raja Harishchandra Ghat, Manikarnika Ghat, Lalita Ghat and Dashashwamedh Ghat. Even Ganga Arti can be seen from this cruise but only when the evening cruise is opted for. Ganga Arti is quite famous in Varanasi and Ganga River Cruise offers unhindered views of the Ganga Arti from the upper deck.

The cruise liner has been made by a company in West Bengal at a cost of Rs 1 crore. PM Modi and CM Yogi also travelled on this cruise some time ago. A company called Alaknanda has started the cruise service in 2018. The tickets of this cruise can be booked online and also purchased on the cruise itself. However. the tickets can be purchased on the cruise physically only if there are some seats left over from the online booking process. There are a total of 60 seats in the cruise.
