Clive dives into the relationship between those who lead and those who follow to reveal the qualities that make a great follower. To be a good leader, you have to be a good follower. To be a good follower, you have to be a good leader. Clive is originally from England, and settled with his family in
Hawke’s Bay in 2005 where he has made his home. Following his military career, he joined the international youth development charity, Operation Raleigh as a field director, where he led a series of challenging expeditions to East Africa, Pakistan, Guyana, Chile, Poland, and Australia with a focus on developing leadership in young people.

During his varied career, Clive has worked in over 40 countries and currently operates primarily with multinational organisations in the Asia Pacific region. Over the past ten years, he has developed cultural insights through working with delegates from Hong Kong, mainland China, Japan, Singapore, Thailand, Korea, Malaysia, Australia & New Zealand, the Middle East and Africa.

He loves personal challenges, and has completed conventional and mountain/x country marathons including completing six marathons in seven days, all in temperatures of up to 46 degrees.
