Fire Demonstration: Hardie® Fiber Cement Siding vs. Vinyl, Engineered Wood & Cedar

Описание к видео Fire Demonstration: Hardie® Fiber Cement Siding vs. Vinyl, Engineered Wood & Cedar

James Hardie is dedicated to durability. We set up a controlled fire demonstration to show the trusted protection of noncombustible Hardie® fiber cement siding.

Four house-like sets with different siding materials were exposed to direct flame. Vinyl, engineered wood, and cedar eventually succumbed to the flames while Hardie® fiber cement siding did not combust or burn.

This demonstration is intended to compare the combustibility of siding materials under controlled conditions. It is not intended to predict the performance, when exposed to fire, of any specific wall design or siding material installation on your home. Results may vary under different conditions. The display speed was altered for portions of this video for editorial purposes.

Hardie® fiber cement products are noncombustible and have a Class A fire rating when tested in accordance with ASTM E84.
