Toronto's Lakeshore West trail offers one of the best bike rides in the city – scenic views of Lake Ontario, waterfront parks, and a car-free path. During my 6-week stay, I biked this route to explore beyond downtown Toronto. This video shows the route, what to expect, and why it's worth the ride.

In this ride, we explore one of Toronto’s most scenic and relaxing routes — biking from Harbourfront to Lakeshore West, with plenty of stops along the way to soak in nature, architecture, and local city life.

Starting at Nathan Phillips Square and passing by the Rogers Centre, we cruise past the waterfront, discover an Indigenous sculpture at Coronation Park, and enjoy stunning skyline views at Trillium Park.

From there, we bike past BMO Field, check out some unique buildings, and connect to Lakeshore Boulevard — eventually stumbling upon a surprise rowing competition. We pass peaceful beaches, a beautiful public swimming pool, and cozy café spots hidden among the trees.

The ride wraps up with a stunning view from Humber Bay Bridge, a short break at Sheldon Lookout, and a relaxing picnic back at the Harbourfront. 🌅
