When I was first learning to drive a manual (stick shift) car when I was in high school, there were certain things I wish I was told which would've helped me learn quicker. My very first car was a stick shift VW and driving around the streets of Brooklyn, NY were intimidating because if you don't drive once the light turns green, the person behind you is honking their horn instantly.
