Pass Amp Camp Amp (ACA) Build and Initial Performance. Class A Kit from diyAudioStore.

In this video I assemble the Nelson Pass designed Amp Camp Amp (ACA) available from diyAudioStore.com. I personally purchased this amplifier kit.

Everything is included in the kit (except solder) :)

The kit is well put together and has plenty of online documentation for assembly. My assembly time was approximately 4 hours.

Initial measurements were performed to verify that the amp is operational. I will create a companion video that explores the performance in more detail.

This amplifier is a single-ended type Class A design. It will generate a lot of heat and is quite inefficient. Power rating is approximately 5W (stereo).
