If you need a compact drum set that’s easy to transport and still packs a punch, then the Tama Club Jam Pancake Kit has got to be on your radar.

I've spent some time with this kit in the studio and I'm definitely impressed with this little powerhouse of a drum set. In this review, we’ll take a close look at the performance, build quality, and value for money.

The shells are made from Poplar wood, which is a 6-ply construction, and each shell is 8mm thick across the board. This gives the kit a solid tone, while still keeping the weight manageable and price affordable.

It’s a cool little kit and excellent value for money considering what you get. It sounds really good mic’d up, and I think it looks fantastic too.
