Описание к видео Review on several new and old composite sticks, hockey shafts, and blades.

Using my SonyEricsson C905i with camera stand making this video.....

In this video, I reviewed the following shafts, blades, and composite sticks.

1. Easton Synergy SC2 composite stick (Flex may be 85, don't remember). Purchased in about late 2008 or early 2009.

The blade of this stick has cracks after several times of slapshot practice. The bottom is worn out and the core starts to expose. This is the 3rd time I have blade with this situation...the first one was Sherwood 5030 wood stick, the second one was Easton Hybrid blade, and now is Easton composite stick. I really loss trust to composite blades...... especially EASTON's hockey blade......not strong enough to be used in slapshot.

2. CCM U+ Crazy Light, CRAZYOVI composite stick (75 Flex). 2012 new model.

The blade of this composite stick is Carzy patern, not Ovi patern. There are CL with OVI blade and CL with Crazy blade. Mine is with Crazy blade.

3. Sher-wood 5030 CC (Composite Core) (88 Flex). Model year ........ may be about 2011~2012.

The blade length...looks short..but when compare to other blades...looks the same.......not sure if this composite stick is with full length blade or not full length........

This composite stick feels really good when holding in hand and also when shooting pucks or balls. I like the sound from the blade when kicking pucks!!

The curve on this 5030 CC stick is not the same as my 5030 wood stick. My 5030 wood stick was pretty much heel curve. I remember it was not able to perform good back hand shooting and slapshoot dur to the curve was so deep. I can do very good back hand puck handeling and slapshoot on this 5030 CC.

4. CCM U+ Crazy Strong shaft with grip coating (low kick point, fits 0.520 tapered blade) (75 Flex) + Worrior composite blade. 2012 new model.

First time to use low kick point shaft. Not bad, but need to practice more before I can tell any difference.

5. Tour Graphite Spoiler WAVE X-1 shaft (85 Flex) + Reebok 2K ABS blade.

I think this WAVE shaft is a very old model. I kind of remember back in 2000, Tour was the first company (or maybe the other brand) to make carcon fiber shaft, which was the graphite material. And the WAVE design was in 2000 or 2001.

Afterall, technology is technology, a shaft is a shaft, time is not a factor, only the quality and design matters. I do not really feel any special power from the WAVE structure, maybe it was because I used Reebok ABS blade instead wood blade.

Will try out more and put another review.

6. Bauer Vapor APX SE grip shaft (Flex 87) + Canadian wood blade.

Light weight, very comfortable when shooting and deking. The Canadian wood blade is a super great blade, and the APX Se shaft works with this blade just so perfect!

7. CCM OCTO GUN LE composite stick with A. Ovechkin blade patern (Flex....don't know..but there is "102-1" number on the stick..........). This may be 2008 or older model, but I just purchased from Sports Authority in 7/2012.

This is my MOST FAVORATE composite stick. The feeling and the weight are both excellent. When doing snapshot, wrist shot, and slpshot, all I can say is "excellent performance." Since this is out or date model......I donlt really practice it a lot...because I cannot find another OCTO GUN LE OVI verson on line anymore.......

8. Bauer Nike Supreme One90 shaft (85...?? Flex. The number is covered by the tape) + Canadian wood blade. Purchased in...2008 with Easton Hybrid blade but the blade was badly broken at the bottom part, so I replaced the blade with the Canadian wood blade.

Excellent shaft. Even now in 2012, I can still say its weight is the same as the high end level shaft of each brand.

9. Sher-Wood T90 shaft (75 Flex) + Easton Synergy ABS blade

Will do a video later. The Easton ABS blade broke before I made this video... I JUST do some shootings and the blade was broken......||

After I got home, replaced the broken ABS blade with Easton Synergy Pro wood blade. Will try it tomorrow!
