Edwin Lutyens was British Architect commissioned to plan and design the New Delhi's Power Corridor. He is substitute to the name of today's capital administrative area and cult of politburo and media. He is joined by another British Architect Herbert Baker to design the landmarks of New Delhi from President of India's Residence - Rastrapati Bhawan, Office of Ministries - Secretariat and Body of Democracy - Parliament of India.
In 1911, Delhi was chosen as Capital and marked as Central seat of Power for Royal British Government in Imperial India. They go through a very long design and construction period from 1911 to 1931.
