Getting a Low Compression, Fire Damaged Kawasaki Bayou 300 Started!

Описание к видео Getting a Low Compression, Fire Damaged Kawasaki Bayou 300 Started!

Bought this Kawasaki Bayou 300 for $375 a few weeks ago. We tried to get it started once before and discovered that the compression was low, (60PSI), the valve timing was a little off, it had no spark, and the wire harness was hacked up. After installing the portable CDI, retiming the valves, and installing a PZ27 carburetor it still would not start. I put oil into the cylinder, the compression improved to 120PSI and the engine surprising started and ran pretty well. The next time we work on this engine, we will have to see if the compression holds and it manages to start when cold!
