Bike Park Wales - 50 Shades Of Black - "SCARY"

Bike Park Wales is the trail park that'll put a smile on your face all day. Even though I've been going now for around 3 years, I've not yet tackled all the blacks. In particular - 50 Shades of Black. Doing what most people do, I hit YouTube and looked at the features and thought to myself, it's time.

We all pay a good amount of money to even ride Bike Park Wales and the mix of trails always has you coming back for more. I knew 50 Shades of black had the features that I look for in a trail. Drops, technical and fast.

That said, all the videos on YouTube don't show the gravity of the features. Let's just say the GoPro effect was fully in force. So some of the 50 shades features took me by surprise. Much bigger than I thought at least.

So we did the sensible thing and pieced it all together in sections. Waving up the features and working out the best lines to hit them properly.

The sense of achievement when you complete something like this for the first time is truly unreal. I'm pretty sure you're hear that in my voice.

Now I know what to expect on this trail, there's really no looking back.

Bike Park wales, what a place indeed. 50 shades of black, at last ticked of my list.
